Loving the European summer...

So I'm still travelling -- having a blast!!

It's the best thing that's happening for me for a long while. I love it out here. I love the people, the food, the scenery, everything!!..

I feel so comfortable out here, like I did in Africa. I'm not sure whether it's a coming of age thing or change of environment but I've never been happier since I left home.

Even the thought of going back is rather depressing. Blah. Will not talk about it. Have been taking massive amounts of photos.. I hope they all survive! I am so sad that I didn't take as many photos as I had hoped for Uganda. Camera problems. Am trying to make it up for Europe.

Oh yes there have already been some boy drama. It already started on my first day in Uganda!! It's also nice to feel appreciated here as well. Hee. I only wished I brought more girly clothes, and less practical travelling (read: BORING BLACK) clothes! Oh yes.. there is the shopping but I have been very good.. it's practically amazing my willpower. Except when it comes to primate shirts which I am very geeky about.

Of course, Murphy's Law dictates that one will wear dorky "98.6% CHIMP" shirt that one bought in Ngama Island, Uganda and stained shorts when one meets delicious Dutch boy with blonde hair and bluest eyes. Add having local female escort to the mix, who is tall, blonde, and beautiful. And so European chic of course in her soft skirts and flattering top. No silly shirts like silly tourist.

However it turned out that he was more interested in me. Well, in what I had to say anyway. He kept asking me questions, whilst ignoring the Beautiful. I felt bad because she was my host for the evening. And while he was sooo interesting himself, I felt like I had to cut it short so she won't feel left out. Oh damn my niceness. This is how I don't get any boys. I always look out for my girlfriends. Oh phooey.

Anyway, the travel month is still young. Am travelling with another Dutch girl tonight to Berlin. Original plan was to stay there for a week plus but am keen to head to Italy now.

I am so loving my life right now, you can't imagine!! What?? I don't want to come back!!!!

You'll be in London on the 30th you say? I think I could easily meet you.

Why not send me a flickrmail with details and we can sort something out.

Yay - should be fun!

Oh I see.. Well, who knows I might still make it out to Amsterdam. If I'm going to go that'd be a good time to do it.

So like I said I'd been planning to head out to Amsterdam for a weekend to see the city and visit a friend there.

I've finally committed myself. I'll be there from Friday night to Monday night. If you have time and you'd like to meet send me an email.
